MONTREAL, JE T'AIME

I recently went to Montreal over the weekend with my family for a relaxing getaway. This was my second time visiting this beautiful city and I completely fell in love all over again.

I've never been to Europe-but hopefully that will change soon- but walking through European style cobblestone streets in Old Montreal, I felt like I traveled half way across the world. I was only staying in Montreal for four days and I wanted to visit as many places as I could in such a short time frame. Of course I hopped on the classic double decker tour bus to visit the entire city of Montreal. Even though I ended up with a serious tan at the end of the bus tour, it was well worth it.

In addition to the bus tour, I visited the Botanical Garden of Montreal that was spectacular! The Chinese and Japanese exhibitions were by far my favorite part of the trip. I would highly recommend visiting the Botanical Garden if you visit Montreal.

P.S.  In my next blog post I will sharing my top things to do in Montreal. So stay tuned!

I saw this powerful art piece while strolling through Downtown Montreal on McGill College. This sculpture is called The Illuminated Crowd.
