Last night President Barak Obama gave his final State of the Union Address to the nation. It is crazy to think that he was our president for almost eight years as his final term comes to an end. I stumbled upon this article, Becoming an Adult During Obama's Presidency, from PopSugar.com last night and thought it was a great article to share. The article by Eleanor Sheerhan, a writer for PopSugar, is about her journey of adulthood during Obama's Presidency.

When Obama first came to office, I was only 12 years old and my understanding politics and what the president truly did was quite dismal. Now as a 20 year old college student studying journalism, its nostalgic to see how much I have changed in eight years and see how much my involvement with politics has increased. Sheerhan's article brought back memories that have resided with me. I hope it will do that same you as well.
